Mochas

TO MAKE HOT OR ICED MOCHA USING OUR CHOCOLATE SAUCE (ONE SERVING)

Take a standard coffee cup and fill about 2/3 the way up with strong hot coffee ( 8 oz coffee) (regular or decaf)

scoop out 1 oz chocolate sauce (this is just shy of 2 level Tablespoons)

and 1 to 2 Tablespoons of sugar according to your tastes (we use 2, but we like it sweet)

Blend both into your hot coffee, being very sure that there is no chocolate clumps lingering in the bottom of your cup

After above is fully incorporated, add 2 Tablespoons of half n half. Blend. Done! Easy, delicious & affordable!

Serve hot or over ice (my favorite is over ice! yum!)

For iced Mocha: It will taste a little better if you allow it to cool off before pouring it over ice...avoiding the whole melted ice, watered down coffee thing.

TO MAKE MOCHA USING OUR DRINKING CHOCOLATE MIX:

IF MAKING A HOT MOCHA: In a standard 8-12 oz. coffee mug, simply add 1-2 Tablespoons of mix to about 1/3 cup hot coffee (regular or decaf), blend vigorously until a smooth paste forms(often looks a little like smooth icing) then add your remaining coffee to your mug and add sugar and cream, according to your personal tastes (see some suggestions in above recipe). ENJOY!

IF MAKING A REFRESHING ICED MOCHA: Simply allow the hot mocha to cool, before pouring over lots of ice.

It is also nice touch to brew your coffee a little stronger to help counteract any ice melting and to help the coffee flavor cut through the chocolate and cream flavors.

FLAVORED MOCHAS

Make recipes above, using different flavors of our chocolate sauces or drinking chocolate mixes OR

Instead of using sugar to sweeten, use a flavored syrup of your favorite flavor!

Monin brand syrups are all natural and have the best flavor, however any brand you find at your local supermarket on the coffee isle will do just fine.

My five favorite flavored Mochas: Caramel, Mint, Blackberry, Rum, Hazelnut

DAIRY FREE MOCHAS

These can be made using our Dairy Free Sauces or any of our drinking chocolate mixes. Simply substitute the

cream in recipe with coconut milk or Almond Milk (coconut has best flavor and decadent creaminess!)
